Life on Earth is the debut studio album for Yellowknife's Mary Caroline. It was recorded at Catherine North Studios in Hamilton Ontario during the summer of 2014, where it was produced and engineered by Dan Hosh and Scott Peacock. This 8 track album is rooted in folk genre, with predominate acoustic guitar undertones, but ties in pop influences, such as synths, percussion and electric guitar leads. Unique instrumentation, etherial vocals, and lyrics rich in gritty northern imagery give Life on Earth a distinct place in the Canadian music scene.
